Completed July 2019
Conwest Audiovisual and Security Consultation
We completed this full technology design in August 2019 for Conwest, a well-known construction company.
Phase 1: Stakeholder Engagement
We identified that without a defined low voltage standard for the store, there was a lot of risk to both Conwest and the general contractor (ETRO).
It was a pleasure to sit down with the senior management team from Conwest to understand their needs and their technology vision for their flagship store. Among other things, we discovered that there was a need for a robust security system that would cover the office perimeter.
Phase 2: Concept Development
Based on the feedback that we captured during our stakeholder engagement, our design team put together some high-level concepts for the Conwest team to review.
Phase 3: Project Documentation
The Conwest team loved our concept design, so our team got to work to put together the project documentation that ETRO would use to coordinate the low-voltage tender and installation.
The final documentation included:
Plan views showing the location of every speaker, TV and touch panel.
Elevation drawings showing the locations of every TV and the power and data drops required in each room.
Connection schematics showing how the system is connected.
Rack views to facilitate coordination with IT and ensure proper ventilation in the server room.
